We are pleased to welcome two new group members!

Waner Liang has just started her PhD supervised by Rich and Tatsuya. Her research will focus on understanding how migration distance, threat exposure, and population trends interact across global waterbird flyways.

Mengshuai Ge has joined us as a visiting PhD student from Peking University. His research focuses on how birds on the eastern Tibetan Plateau are influenced by the establishment and development of cultivated grassland, and explores bird-friendly methods of planning and managing cultivated grassland.
