Always great to start the new year with a new group member!
Patrick Connolly has just started his honours project supervised by Elize, Tatsuya, Rich Fuller, and Lily Bentley. His research focuses on conservation efforts for migratory terns in Australia that utilise the East-Asian Australasian Flyway (EAAF). Patrick has previously completed the undergraduate component of his Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours), majoring in both marine biology and ecology & conservation biology, with a minor in coastal & ocean sciences. Outside of research, Patrick enjoys birding and wildlife photography, regularly engaging with citizen science initiatives such as iNaturalist and eBird.
Welcome Patrick and look forward to working with you!
